The Data Subgroup (DS) of the CEOS Working Group on Information Systems and Services (WGISS) addresses the high-level goals of WGISS to:

1. Enhance the complementarity, interoperability and standardisation of earth observation data and information management and services.

2. Undertake tasks to foster the interuse of data ensuring compatibility of data content, formats, and tools used in the acquisition, archiving and processing of data products.

The membership to the CEOS WGISS DS is open to all members and associates of CEOS. CEOS WGISS DS may invite guest participation from other organisations by decision of the sub-group members.
